Welcome to Santa Barbara Sunrise Rotary! As president I am delighted you have come to our website to learn more about us. Bruce Belfiore is president of Santa Barbara Sunrise Rotary for the 2023-24 Rotary year.  Bruce has been a member of the club for over 20 years and has held different positions including Club Services chairperson. 

 

His community involvement includes serving as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 26, volunteering with the entrepreneurship program at Santa Barbara City College, and serving on the board of directors for the Italian American Foundation of Santa Barbara, which provides scholarships to Italian-American students, and as a past president and director of the Italian-American Boot Club.  He is a parishioner at Old Mission Santa Barbara.

 

Bruce is also co-founder and CEO of BenchmarkPortal, which provides benchmarking, certification, training and consulting services to the customer contact sector. He hosts the online podcast CallTalk™, and is a frequent speaker at industry events in the United States and abroad.  He has also taught the course "Call Center Management" at Purdue University.

 

Bruce holds both U.S. and Italian nationality and has divided his career between North America and Europe, holding positions in international finance and consulting

 

He holds A.B., MBA and JD degrees from Harvard University.

Rotary is an international leadership organization. It’s made up of local business, professional, and civic leaders. We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships and through that, we’re able to get things done in our local and worldwide communities. Rotary is a leader in the effort to eradicate polio worldwide, brings clean water and education to people in need, and promotes peace. The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise was founded in 1985 and is a diverse group of 50 members. The club meets on the first and third Wednesdays at 7:00 am at the Santa Barbara Club located at 1105 Chapala Street in Santa Barbara. Our meetings are also held virtually via Zoom.
