DESCRIPTION:The Eye Surgeries Campaign is happening in Celaya\, Mexico May 
 2-3\, 2025. This is a great opportunity to bring the Gift of Sight to in
 dividuals who have been blind for many years unable to see the beautiful f
 aces of their grandchildren.    The activities we perform at the clinic 
 are: welcoming patients\, transporting them to and from the OR\, helping
  in the recovery room feeding the patients\, making the beds\, taking pict
 ures\, documenting some of the family stories\, etc\, etc. Sometimes\, we
  are allowed to be in the OR to observe one or two surgeries.     Home 
 host is offered by our Rotarian friends. They provide breakfast and transp
 ortation to the clinic. Lunch at the clinic\, usually there is dinner at 
 a home or a restaurant.   The group is greeted at the airport and driven
  to Celaya to meet their home hosts. There are two airports you can fly t
 o: El Bajio International Airport (BJX) in Leon and the Aeropuerto Interna
 tional de Queretaro (AIQ). It is recommended participants travel together 
 to facilitate the pick-up/drop-off at the airport.  It is recommended arr
 iving one day before the eye campaign to settle down and meet your home ho
 sts.  We must let our hosts know if the group wants to travel to cities l
 ike San Miguel and/or Guanajuato. If they are able\, they will drive the 
 group and organize the tour. The participants can also make their own ho
 tel and tour reservations.     Our club participated in a Global Grant t
 o purchase a Photocoagulator for the clinic\, we'll have the opportunity t
