DESCRIPTION:Volunteer to serve as poll workers for the upcoming election da
 y\, Tuesday November 5th.  This would provide a valuable service to the c
 ommunity and serve our democracy.  Here are details if you would like to 
 volunteer:   1. Interested members need to go online https://pollworker.
 sos.ca.gov/s/ to submit an online application.  Indicate you are a membe
 r of Santa Barbara-Sunrise Rotary in the note section.   2. Participants 
 will be contacted by the county elections office--and then need to take a 
 training class (scheduled by appointment).     3. Kirk Greene will provi
 de Alex at the county elections office (ammorgan@countyofsb.org) with a li
 st of our Rotary members who have signed up.     4. Our members can wear
  Rotary vests\, hats\, and/or pins when the serve on election day.    5.
  Participants will be paid (about $180) for the day.  Rotarians can in-tu
 rn donate the payment to SB-Sunrise Rotary Foundation.  (There is no dire
