Visiting Rotarians- Art Fisher- Assistant District Governor ; Presented an award to the Club because of
its pledge by each member of the club to the International Foundation last year averaging $100 per member

Announcements-1.Tim- He and Nobeel drove 4 children that the club sponsored to the Ryla camp in Ojai this weekend. He noted that no student from Santa Barbara High was sponsored and that our club may need to do that next year
                            2.Mark- There is a Wine and Water event at the Greek Church on May 5th  to raise money for the Tanzania water well project. Cost is $75/person
                            3. Art Fisher- who has been involved in the solar light project announced that there has been over 100,000 lights distributed
                4. Guy announced that he has been away the past several w because his mother-in-law and brother-in-law both died within a few days of each other and he has been helping Patricia
 
Mega Bucks- 1. John Holhouse- visited  his daughter and brother
                       2. Dennis Boneck- Will be traveling to Scotsdale next week for golf and it is also his birthday
Joseph E Holland- Santa Barbara County Recorder, Assessor, and Registrar of Voters 
 
Program- Joseph E Holland- Santa Barbara County Recorder, Assessor, and Registrar of Voters spoke regarding the problems and concerns that have developed in light of the recent disasters and how his department is trying to care for each case fairly.
            His department provides free copies of Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates to those who need or lost them
            His department is helping those who have been displaced reregister to vote. There  will be a satellite office in Montecito to expedite this.

            Up to 500 properties have been impacted by the fire and flood  with up to $1.2 billion in lost property value and loss of assessment and tax basis. Each property is unique and will be evaluated by multiple people  to determine the amount of future assessments.
