PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

At our October 19th Rotary luncheon meeting we discussed finding a permanent place to hold our meetings. We're going to check Harry's Plaza again and a few other places that were suggested. If you have any ideas, please give me a call.

Jim Lisi, our Foundation Director asked if members had sent in their pledges for the Rotary Foundation (TRF) and to Rotary Club Santa Barbara North Charitable Foundation (RCSBNF), if you haven't done so, please do so ASAP. If you have questions, please e-mail Jim at xbizo@yahoo.com.

Mark your calendars for our next meeting on Wednesday, November 2. Place will be published shortly.

Daylight saving time is near, don't forget to put your clocks back 1 hour on Sunday, November 6th.

PLEDGE & INVOCATION: Dr. Steve Young

ROTARY SING-ALONG: Blas Garza

MEGA BUCKS:

Tom Jacobs pledged a Mega Buck in honor of his wife Cass making a splash in the Santa Barbara Newspress.

Guy de Mangeon pledged a Mega Buck because came out of the hospital 100% better then when he entered.

Donna Eyman pledged 2 Mega Bucks, one for placing 2nd place in a recent surf board contest and second for being a "deadbeat" because she hasn't attended a Rotary meeting.

Gil Garcia pledged a Mega Buck for attending a fabulous wedding in Leon, Guanajuato.

GUEST: Anahi Caballero from Puerto Vallarta, she is here to study English.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

November 17, 2022, "Shopping for a Cause", a MaryKay event at the Garcia Residence, 2215 Santa Barbara St from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 10% of the proceeds are going to the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara North Charitable Foundation.

Adams School is looking for volunteers, some of the jobs include working at the Library, reading to students, parking lot monitors, etc. See Dennis Waid or Tom Jacobs if you are interested.

The Santa Barbara Choral Society will be performing on December 11. Time and place to be announced.
