INTRODUCTION OF VISITING ROTARIANS
Yvonne Pederson was a guest speaker several months ago, where she introduced the 911 Project Harmony program with Santa Barbara Police officer Sgt. Mike McGrew, Ret. The programs finale was held on Sunday June 11th at Restoration Oaks Ranch, Gaviota. It was a showcase of first responder songs written by songwriters after the first responders told their on-the-job experiences that have taken a toll on their lives.

Emiliano Campobello was born and raised in Santa Barbara. He currently represents “ActivePure”, an air filter that reduces 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces. For more information you can go to

Mary Garza, spouse of Blas Garza. Mary is a delight, and it is a pleasure to welcome her to the club meetings.

Jim Lisi, Chair of the RI Rotary Foundation talked again about the Rotary International Annual Charitable Giving campaign. Every year the club and its members give to the Rotary Foundation. This year the club will match your donation with Paul Harris points. You must go into the Rotary Foundation website to donate. If you need help, please call Jim Lisi at (805) 692-6828.
Gil Garcia, President-Elect announced that a Rotary retreat for his Board of Directors will be held on June 24 at the home of Marti Correa de Garcia. Lunch is being served.
Rotary Club Santa Barbara Sunrise is planning its second annual Dolphin Dive Festival, Sunday, July 9th from 11 to 5 pm at Chase Palm Park. A few of us have dolphins in the game. It’s a family event, bring kids and grandkids.

Continue to keep in your thoughts and prayers for Rotarian Anthony Clark, he is at home recuperating from his operation. He should be running around in a month.
