Join us in the Blaksley Library to enjoy a delightful lunch and hear from the SB Botanic Garden staff about a new emphasis at the Garden for families and children.  The Library IS ADA accessible.

Feel free to bring a guest or visiting Rotarian: $35 includes lunch and all access admission to the Garden.

Park in the main lot on Mission Canyon Road, it's a short walking distance from the lot to the Library.

Where Blaksley Library now sits was a cottage, one of the original buildings at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden.  It began life in 1926 as a Sears Roebuck kit that was built on site.  It  was moved to its present location in 1941 to make room for the new building.  It was used as the caretakers cottage from 1926 to 1990 when it was renovated.

Stay after the regularly scheduled meeting for a walk around the gardens, taking in the beauty of nature, observe some of its treasures such as the Indian Steps and the Mission Dam and Aqueduct, a registsered California State Historic Landmark built in the early 1800s.  A map of the Garden is attached for your perusal.
