What an over the top business social we had this past week, with much praise and thanks to our very own Shannon Hill...

I was first captivated by the amazing weather ordered up, as earlier in the day all over the central coast was either sweating hot or verging tornado winds. Well I guess Cuesta decided to make sure our club was comfortable to enjoy the beautiful live music, incredible snacks along side the wonderful inebriations. The evening included wonderful fellowship while we all had much to discuss and ponder. Tours of the behind the scenes education of the performing arts department really was both interesting and brought the youthfulness of some of our long ago graduates in our club. I could quickly tell who the class clowns were (Fuentes & Quaglino) and who the teachers pets were (Thomas & Lewis), but I'm not saying any names. I was fighting to keep with the crowd in my high heels to not miss a beat, and lets just say it was worth the blister later. The night concluded with an incredible art showing featuring the thought provoking artwork by Irene Hardwicke Olivieri. This art left us all questioning the life stories engrossed on canvas and even more interesting was the art designed with rodent bones. As if all that wasn't enough we were gifted with reusable bags so we can save those dimes spent on bags to serve our rotarian mission. I know some stayed into the night later, but my feet told me I better go home and put some slippers on...

Thank you Thank you and Thank you again Shannon for all you gifted our club with having such a fun an interactive night... Cuesta College is truly a wonderful school!!!
