Nordhoff High School Social Studies teacher and Soccer Coach Ann Inman nominated senior Giovanni Torres as the Rotary Club of Ojai West October Student of the Month. Ms. Inman praised Gio’s athletic skill as a Varsity soccer player for NHS, his dedication to his course work, leadership skills and his goal of attending a four year college playing soccer. Gio thanked his family and his coach Ms. Inman who he said was instrumental in encouraging him to succeed in soccer over the years. He will add the $250 he received from the Rotary Club to his college savings account.
