President's Message
Fellow Rotarians,

Last week's Community Awards Celebration was a wonderful example of Rotary International's theme "Serve to Change Lives".

Thanks to Foundation President Kati Buehler, the Grant Selection Committee, and the Foundation Board, for their work evaluating this year's applications.   Thanks also to Kati, Cathy Cash, and Tony Morris for organizing the food and decorations. And finally, thanks to Jennifer Goddard for ensuring our awards were well publicized. To see examples of the press we received, click on the publication names below:
As Giving Tuesday approaches, I'm reminded that these grants would not be possible without your generous contributions to our Club's Foundation. Thanks for your continued support.

And in the spirit of the holiday, let me express gratitude to all of you for your commitment to Rotary and to our Club.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Community Grants Celebration
Foundation President Kati Buehler and Club President Tom Fisher pose with representatives of the organizations receiving 2021 community grants.

A larger than usual crowd gathered at our November 16th meeting to participate in the annual Community Grants Celebration. Fifteen organizations received grants of $1,000 each to further their work in our community.

Representatives of each organization shared sobering stories about the impact of the pandemic, and offered inspirational anecdotes illustrating the diversity of services offered and their ability to respond rapidly to changing circumstances.
