Highlights of the Music Academy's 75th Anniversary Celebration

Ana Papakhian has served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Music Academy of the West since 2014, and accepted the new position of Chief Marketing and Communications Officer in October 2020.

Programs she has strategized at the Academy have introduced the organization to new audiences. Ms. Papakhian initiated live video streaming and Community Access initiatives that make subsidized, discounted tickets available to all, and also free tickets for young people.

The Academy's social media presence and digital marketing efforts have grown exponentially under her direction.

President's Message
Fellow Rotarians,

Please join us on Tuesday, June 7th as President-Elect, Tony Morris, hosts our last regular meeting of the Rotary Year.  Once again, I want to thank Tony for all he has done (and it has been a great amount of work) for making us feel like home at the Music Academy of the West.  For each meeting, Tony arrives early to set up the lunch buffet and make sure everyone is taken care of—the lunch and food service runs smoothly because of Tony’s hard work and dedication to the Club.

Thank you to all the Rotarians who gave their time and talent last week to volunteer at the Food Bank.  A special thank you to Anita for being an amazing Community Service Director!  Our small Club has really had a great impact in hands-on projects across our community and we appreciate all that Anita does for the Club.

Lastly, our Step Down celebration will be Tuesday, June 21st at Cathy and Bruce’s lovely home in Hope Ranch—please RSVP with Liz or Bernadette to let us know if you are coming to the event.  The estimated start time is 5:30 pm. We will confirm the time and provide the address and other details by separate email.

It has been my pleasure to serve as the Club’s President this Rotary Year.  Tony will make an excellent President, and we will officially pass the baton to him on June 21st.

Thank you,

Tom
