President's Message
Dear Fellow Rotarians,

The Rotary Club of Montecito will hold its last meeting of the '23-'24 Rotary year this Tuesday, June 4 at 12 pm.

Since the Music Academy is launching its annual Summer Festival, we will be meeting off-site at the VNA Health headquarters Board Room, which is located at 505 E. Montecito Street in Santa Barbara.  Some of you may recall that we had an off-site meeting at VNA Health last year. Our VNA friends were kind enough to offer their space for our final meeting.

Our meeting will include a recap of our club's year, plus President-Elect Kim Stone will share her experiences of the recent Rotary International Convention in Singapore.

Hope to see you there!

Yours in Service,

Tony

Montecito Family YMCA Preschool Graduation
President Tony distributes books to the graduates

Rotarians, Bernadette Bagley, Roger Davis, and Murray Ray joined President Tony Morris to celebrate students graduating from the Montecito YMCA preschool program.  Parents and friends cheered for the graduates as they sang songs celebrating their time at the preschool and signaling their excitement at moving to the next stage in their education.

As part of Rotary's Youth Literacy initiative, our Club presented each graduating child with a copy of Dr. Seuss' book, "Oh, The Places You'll Go" which many opened immediately and began reading. The graduates' enthusiasm made it a feel good event for all involved.
