President's Message
Dear fellow Rotarians,

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 8 for a Group 8 Rotary Club special event at Camp Whittier, which is home to the Boys and Girls Club. After fires destroyed much of the camp, the Group 8 clubs stepped in and helped to rebuild the facility. In appreciation of our efforts, the camp will be open for all members and families to enjoy. Lunch will be provided as well. A highlight of the day will be the launch of the Annual Group 8 Pub Trivia Contest.

Joining us at our meeting this Tuesday, Sept. 6 at the Music Academy of the West will be Mike Baker, President of the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara, who will share with us details of the event and help prep us for the Trivia Contest. (Suddenly, the "Jeopardy" theme music is playing in my head!)

Yours in Service,
Tony
