Autumn Brand: Cannabis Farming in Santa Barbara
Autumn Brand: Cannabis Farming in Santa Barbara

Co-founded by Autumn Shelton and Hannah Brand,  Autumn Brands is a coastal Santa Barbara County licensed cannabis cultivator.

The Autumn Brands’ family farm started in Holland more than a century ago, and today, sixth-generation farmers apply the same expertise garnered in growing the world’s finest tulips to producing pure and potent strains of cannabis using traditional farming techniques, natural sunlight and pesticide-free cultivation.

President's Message
Fellow Rotarians,

We had our first “live” meeting on October 5th at the Music Academy of the West in Montecito.  We were excited to have over 20 members and several guests attend the meeting and share lunch (Italian food from Ca ’Dario in Montecito) on the beautiful outdoor patio.

Our guest speaker was Geoff Green, President of the Santa Barbara City College Foundation.  Geoff gave us a very nice update on all the exciting things happening at the foundation and at the college, and thanked us for our 25 year partnership with City College.

October 24th is World Polio Day, and Rotary is as committed as ever to eradicating polio from the Earth. Through the work of Rotary and others, polio has been eliminated in all but two countries: Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Gates Foundation remains a key partner with their two for one match for all donations to Rotary's Polio Plus fund.  Please consider a gift to Polio Plus in your charitable planning.

I look forward to seeing more members as we have our second live meeting on October 19th at the Music Academy. We meet on the patio just to the left of the “Main House” which is at the end of the upper-level parking lot (feel free to park in those spaces). This week’s meal will be a buffet catered by Los Arroyos in Montecito.

I hope to see you on October 19th. - Tom

First In-Person Meeting at the Music Academy of the West
President Elect Tony Morris helps President Tom Fisher auction a selection of delicious wines.

I think everyone would agree our first in-person meeting was a great success.  Mild weather made for perfect outdoor dining, and Ca' Dario provided a variety of delicious salads and pastas. A total of 26 people attended which was a significant increase over recent Zoom meetings.

Thanks to all who attended, and special thanks to Eryn Shugart and Tony Morris for each bringing multiple guests!
