President's Message
Fellow Rotarians,

I am very proud to report that 17 Rotarians donated to our Ukraine Humanitarian Relief efforts, and we raised a total of $21,000 (including the $10,000 match from the Club’s Foundation).

Our own Kerri Murray (CEO of Shelter Box USA) and Rotarian, Dean Axelrod, Director of Partnerships & Philanthropy at Direct Relief International spoke to our Club last week on each organizations efforts to help the people of Ukraine.  Thanks to the generous support of our Rotarians, each organization was presented with a check for $10,500 for Ukraine humanitarian relief.

The Club unanimously approved Tony Morris for a second-term as President.  Tony will begin his first term on July 1st and serve two-consecutive terms as the President of our Club. I have agreed to be the President of the Club Foundation (in addition to my role as Treasurer) for the same two-year term.

Tony has been an amazing President-Elect and I know he is going to be a fine President.  In addition to Tony’s recruiting skills (he has brought in several new members), he is instrumental in helping run the meetings and works hard to make sure the food is set-up and served to members and guests.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, May 17th at the Music Academy of the West.

Tom
