President's Message
Dear Fellow Rotarians,

I'm excited that the Rotary Club of Montecito is embarking on its new year. And, already we've accomplished our first service project as volunteers for the Montecito Fire Department's annual July 4th Community Pancake Breakfast. Nothing like serving around 1,400 pancake breakfasts in a 4-hour window!

Our first meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday, July 18th, at noon at the Music Academy. We will be meeting in Bock Garden, which is the beautiful outdoor setting that is directly in front of the large performance center, Hahn Hall. The Summer Music Festival is still going, so you may need to park your cars in the lower-level lot and walk up to Bock Garden.

Our next community service project is also underway; we are collecting backpacks for underprivileged youth. Partnering with the Montecito YMCA, our club will help students return to school with essential items. Please consider bringing one to our meeting on Tuesday!

Thank you for all your support. Hope to see you on Tuesday.

Yours in Service,
Tony
Club News
Thanks and Welcome Back
Montecito Rotarians gather to salute the end of President Tony's first term

Thanks to Todd and Allyson Aldrich for hosting the Step-Down celebration for the end of President Tony's first term.  Lucky for us, the "end" is temporary as Tony will be leading our Club again in Rotary year 2023-24.

Thanks, Tony, for your inspiring leadership.  Can't wait to see what we accomplish in the coming year!
4th of July Pancake Breakfast
Rotarians volunteer as chefs for the Montecito Fire Department's Annual Community Pancake Breakfast

Thanks to all the Rotarians and friends who supported the Montecito Fire Department by serving at their annual 4th of July Community Pancake Breakfast.  Volunteers mixed batter, manned the beverage bar, and mingled with members of the Montecito community.

Roger Davis and Taro Usami serve up breakfast beverages

Rotarians and fiends pose beside our new sign.  Good work getting the word out about Rotary in action!
