Keld Hove, new owner of the San Ysidro Pharmacy in Montecito, lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Lara.
In addition to running the pharmacy, Keld served as a Santa Barbara Police Officer for more than 25 years. A Danish native, he also stars in a hit Danish TV show called "Politijagt" ("Police Chase"). And, that's just a few of the roles which make Keld a fascinating personality.

November is going to be a special month for the Rotary Club of Montecito. Kicking off the month is Montecito Beautification Day, which is always the first Saturday in November. Thanks to all of the club members who volunteer to pick up trash to make our community a better place. It really is a great sense of community.
Later this month on Nov. 21, we will celebrate 14 local nonprofits with our annual Community Grants Luncheon. Be sure to mark your calendars for this special gathering of community leaders.
And, I'm also looking forward to our next speaker, Held Kove, the new owner of the San Ysidro Pharmacy. Without giving away too much of his colorful background, I'll just say, he's going to be a fascinating speaker.
