Learn about Luxury RVs built in SB. This is a WEDNESDAY Club meeting at Living Vehicle headquarters.
Former Rotary Club of Montecito members Wally Hofmann (co-owner and chief service officer) and Robert Mislang (customer service manager) will present a talk on their company, Living Vehicle Inc. and the RV industry.
Guided by a passion for freedom, Living Vehicle (LV) is the culmination of co-owners Matthew and Joanna Hofmann's decade of experience designing and living in mobile spaces.
Inspired by years of traveling full-time in mobile spaces while running a custom mobile design firm in Santa Barbara, CA, Matthew and Joanna Hofmann felt the need to create a new mobile space designed for a modern mobile lifestyle. As a long-term goal, their company is driven to create a sustainable living solution by working to develop a completely self-supporting, net-zero product.
We'll enjoy a catered lunch at their SB headquarters in the Funk Zone. After the talk, there will be time to explore the Living Vehicles in their warehouse.
We meet the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 12:00 PM at the Music Academy of the West

We will be volunteering at the Food Bank on Thursday, August 18th from 9-11am.
We will be pre-packing items for distribution at the Franklin School Mobile Food Pantry Program. The Mobile Food Pantry Program brings food distributions to low-income neighborhoods throughout Santa Barbara County, providing nutritional staples like rice, beans, canned goods, bread, protein items and fresh produce.
We are hoping to have 10 people sign up so please consider joining the group if you can! We need to have everyone signed up no later than August 10th.
"Service Above Self," are three words that truly make a positive impact when put into action. I want to thank Anita, our Service Director, for lining up two community service opportunities for the month of August.
This past Saturday, Larry and Kim volunteered at the Montecito Garden Party fundraiser for the Rona Barrett Foundation, which provides affordable housing and wellness services for low-income senior citizens. They did a great job as parking attendants and greeters. And, later this week, August 19, there's another volunteer project with the Santa Barbara Foodbank. Stay tuned: more service projects are in the works!
I look forward to seeing everyone at this WEDNESDAY'S special off-site meeting at Living Vehicle headquarters at 123 Santa Barbara Street in the Funk Zone.
Yours in Service,
Tony
