Service Project

Thanks to Anita for arranging our next club service project.  We'll spend about 1 hour bagging dog & cat food for C.A.R.E.4 PAWS.

There are two opportunities for service, but space is limited so you need to register in advance. To register, click on your preferred date below:

If you'd like to bring an item to donate in addition to/in lieu of volunteering your time, please see their Amazon wishlist.

President's Message
Dear Friends,

As we start this new year together, I want to share my thoughts and hopes for our Club. What’s most important to me is the quality of our life together – deepening our friendships, enjoying our meetings, learning from vibrant speakers, strengthening our sense of purpose through service projects, and welcoming new members.  I know these things matter to you, too. All of us are a part of this effort to grow our Rotary Club of Montecito.

John Lucchetti did such a wonderful job this past year as our President, including successfully navigating the unexpected and challenging COVID-19 landscape by leading us into virtual meetings starting in late March. Though we all look forward to being together in person, we will continue to hold our Zoom meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, at least for the time being. Please know that I welcome your feedback on these meetings, either by phone or email.

Rotary International’s theme this year – Rotary Opens Opportunities – connects so well with my hopes for the Club. Rotary has certainly opened opportunities for me personally since I joined the Club 10 years ago. I’ve made great friends, found meaningful ways to serve our community, learned about important Rotary projects around the world, and strengthened my own leadership skills. I know this will be true for you, too. It will be a wonderful year!

In service,

Kati
