This year's Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) is a day-long virtual summit focused on building leadership skills, connecting with other inspiring leaders and having a lot of fun!  Congratulations to Kern Valley High School students Adeline GouldingPardae TuttleMolly Watson and Nikki Brooks who, after a rigorous selection process, will participate in this program scheduled for April 24th.

This year, RYLA will consist of three workshops and two keynote speakers.  The workshops will be led by industry leaders covering a range of topics: Diversity; Owning Your Own Leadership Style; and Strong Mind, Strong Body.  The first keynote speaker is a top tech strategist from the Silicon Valley, having spent 10 years at Google, now advising start-ups on leadership and operational scale.  The second keynote speaker is a former Clippers NBA player turned leadership and performance consultant, working with Fortune 100 executives and top athletes & coaches.

Following the RYLA programs, students will share their experiences with Rotarians at one of their twice monthly meetings.  We can't wait to hear all about it!!
