Megan Birney with Unite to Light shared with us about solar lights & chargers.  The mission is to manufacture and distribute  efficient, durable, low coast solar lamps to people without access to electricity.  They target children, women, health clinics, midwives and victims of natural disasters.  They have distributed over 90,000 lamps to 70 countries.  They operate mostly by donations and partnering with other non-profits. They also have a "buy one, give one"  that they sell to people with electricity.  The lights sell for $20 and the chargers are $50,  If you are interested in purchasing go to www.unitetolight.org
