Sheriff Parkinson shared with us some of the changes taking place in our county. Mental health in the jail used to be under a 3rd party, but is now under the Sheriff's direction. There is a free app SLO Sheriff which is now available for both Android and apple users. They are also working on conversion of records to dignital.
September 8th is SLO Sheriff Day at the Ranch, held at Madonna Meadows. The fire department will also be there. This is a great opportunity for kids to get to see up close emergency vehicles including a helicopter and meet our local officers.
