Dream Makers SLO
Dream Makers SLO is a non-profit organization dedicated to making dreams come true for adults in SLO COunty. Julie explained that they are passionate about giving life to terminally-ill adults' final dreams and helping them make the most of the days they haveleft. Pres. Andrew welcomed us and discussed the significance of Robert F. Kennedy's 100th birthday. He also read an excerpt from John Kennedy's speech announcing the death of Martin Luther King.
The Prez also reminded us that the Camp Ocean Pines Legacy Dinner honoring Tom Tierney will be held on Sat., Dec. 6. He also reminded us to sign up for the Holiday Party on Friday, December 12 (flyer attached)
Sandy Cha asked for volunteers to work one-hour shifts at the ornament decorating table at the museum on Hospitality Night, Dec. 4, between 4 & 7.
PE Luanne invited anyone interested in helping with VIVA to join the first meeting on Mon., 12/8 beginning at 5:00 at the Robinsons.
