Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Lived in the San Diego area since 1955, presently in Bonita

Graduated from Point Loma High

Worked in the auto parts industry first as a counterman, then outside sales and ultimately owned his own parts store in the South Bay area.

Has worked in Heavy Earth Moving Equipment sales for the last 42 years

Has been a Rotarian since 1975, first in the National City Club and currently Old Mission Rotary Club, 

Was one of the founders of The Thousand Smiles Foundation in 1985

He and  Gloria have been married for 59 years, they have 4 sons and 8 grandchildren
