Deception Detection in Everyday Life

Novelist, screenwriter, and television personality, Paul Bishop is a nationally recognized behaviorist and deception detection expert. A 35 year veteran of the LAPD, he was twice honored as LAPD’s Detective of the Year. He currently works as a deception detection consultant, his unique skills making him a valuable resource for private companies faced with in-house data breaches, industrial espionage, or corporate sabotage. Paul will be talking about his career and how deception detection works in everyday life. |

Having made award-winning films all over the world, they are currently in production on a feature film about the Camarillo White Horse and Camarillo influence in California history, called Stallion of A Dream: California and the Camarillo White Horse. |

Becoming a Championship Boxer

Maureen Shea is a two time world champion boxer. When not in training she gives back to her community donating her time speaking to women and children. Recently, she helped raise $30,000 for a transitional living facility for homeless families dancing salsa in ‘Dancing with the Community Stars’ held at the Oxnard Salsa Festival where she won first place. Maureen will tell us of her journey to becoming a champion. |
