The Bakersfield East Rotary Club was chartered on December 23rd, 1952. This year, we are celebrating our 66th anniversary! Our club motto for 2018-19 is "Where old and young come together for fun".
Come join us for a meeting filled with fellowship and fun!
It's been so long since we had this meeting that I cannot remember who these kids are(except one who looks an awful lot like the lady in red above), but I do know that they give hope that the free market may still live long and prosper! These guys/gals were awesome.
Giving a primer on why the free market is the only way to create wealth and prosperity
*****CHARTER NIGHT*****
Paul Harris would be proud!
I do not care what people keep saying about you Ron Biglin. Great job to you and your team on the location, decor, and ambience!
I was really hoping Ron would have worn a black bow tie and stole the goatee from the guy up front so he could look like Colonel Sanders. Next year.
If I have to do this newsletter, I get to choose the pics. Way to work it babe...
If I have to do this newsletter, I get to choose the pics. Way to twerk it Sandy...
ALL ROTARY MEETING:
CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY
Sylvia Whitlock, telling us that she became the first woman to become Rotary President so she could have a bathroom to herself and because she was absent on the day they voted her in. Oh, right, I almost forgot, also reminding us what rat b******* men were, why we need an International Woman's Day, and about the lengthy legal proceedings that got us here.
This was right before more twerking by Sandy and Sylvia - if you were not there, you missed it.
Look how good Leonori makes Steve look
These cats are just too awesome
In case you missed it, this is Frank coming in real late and having to sit in the corner table with some other poor saps from a lesser Rotary club
