WEEKLY BULLETIN • JUNE 24, 2021
Thanks to his week's correspondent:
Mike Willis

Editor's note:

Michael Lightfoot hit me up in March to cover President Ken's Demotion. Then, in an epic fail, topped only by our future president's "John Muir Trail misadventure", Lightfoot ghosted me.

Typical Beurmann Baby.

President Ken's Demotion

Past President Garro waited until the eleventh hour to put together a demotion committee and schedule a meeting.

All things considered, it was one of the better demotions I've witnessed/participated in. Several Rotarians came up afterward and told Garro the same thing.

So, Garro's head won't fit in his cowboy hat for a while. It's not like Ken didn't provide plenty of fodder for his demotion roast. From the tiresome Ginger motif to his megalomaniac-narcissistic rants. And who will forget creepy Mini Kenny?

The gist of the flimsy storyline was that Ken was the cause of a new Ginger pandemic. And once infected, the patient would grow red hair and become infatuated with Ken. Kind of a cultish undertone.

Aaron Pearlman was the star of the video Mike Willis put together. There were some outstanding performances from past presidents, Pat Collins, Steve Sanders, Steve Roach and Rob Noriega.

Garro started the whole thing off with a song he rewrote for President Ken. The song "Beurman Baby Road”... sung to the tune of “Seven
Bridges Road
” by the Eagles, was performed by Garro and his talented staff.

Tim Terrio put in a funny performance, claiming he didn't even know Ken belonged to a Rotary let alone was the president of one.

The Ginger gag peaked when almost everyone donned a ginger wig.

In the end, Ken was presented with a trophy to go along with all of the participation trophies on his "hero" shelf.

Then a bunch of past presidents formed a human "cheer tunnel" and Ken eagerly scurried through.

THE END.

Who knew Josh would've made a good looking woman? (Answer- everyone)
Andrae Gonzales channels Beaker from Sesame Street while Justin Leland looks like a typical 80's band roadie.
Sam Newland made this his new Linkedin profile pic.
An image you won't be able to get out of your head.
Garro presented Ken with an even cooler trophy later on and an official President's Pin.
