Arthur Ashe shaking hands with Jimmy Connors after beating him at Wimbledon in 1975.
Today in History – Arthur Ashe Passes away on this day back in 1993. Arthur was an American professional tennis player who won three Grand Slam singles titles. Ashe was the first black player selected to the United States Davis Cup team and the only black man ever to win the singles title at Wimbledon, the US Open, and the Australian Open. He retired in 1980. He was ranked No. 1 in the world by Harry Hopman in 1968 and by Lance Tingay of The Daily Telegraph and World Tennis Magazine in 1975. In the ATP computer rankings, he peaked at No. 2 in May 1976. In the early 1980s, Ashe is believed to have contracted HIV from a blood transfusion he received during heart bypass surgery.

Tejon Ranch's Barry Zoller aka Joe Biden aka Joe Barry Biden Zoller
Due to the Iowa Caucus App Scandal, Joe Barry Biden Zoller was sent to Rotary this week to present on the Tejon Ranch Property.
Barry has been with Tejon Ranch for 15 yrs
Prior to that, he was a newscaster for KERO
He also stated we are not able to rely on anything he says... for legal reasons.
Tejon Ranch is 270,000 acres of total property.
Established in 1843 as a Mexican land grant, this grand sweep of territory was home to some of the Old West’s most illustrious exploits. Trappers, hardy settlers and frontiersmen, outlaws, the Camel Corps, Butterfield stagecoach lines and Army dragoons all traversed its range. Historic pioneers such as Jedediah Smith, Kit Carson and John C. Fremont explored Tejon’s frontier. In the decades following its founding, the Ranch grew in size as additional land grants were purchased by Tejon’s founder, General Edward Fitzgerald Beale, an explorer of the west and a historic figure in early California.
They have three major residential development plans; Centennial, Grapevine, and Mountain Village. All of which have been sued by the Center for Biological Diversity or CBD.
It was said that the CBD has been vaping the wrong CBD which has lead to them to continually file the same lawsuit over and over again.
The "take-away" for the day, is that Barry is not a big fan of CBD, medical or otherwise.
