Today's Program was led by Center for Neuro Skills President and CEO David Harrington, a registered and licensed occupational therapist with over 30 years of experience in the field, CNS operates seven state-of-the-art facilities across California and Texas. Harrington, also Chair of the Brain Injury Association of America, is a passionate advocate for improving healthcare quality and efficiency, and his dedication is reflected in CNS's innovative approach.
Founded by Dr. Mark Ashley, inspired by his brother's journey with brain injury, CNS provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to nearly 400 patients daily. While serving a broad geographic area, the center's impact is felt locally, though only 20% of patients at one location are from Bakersfield. The program's unique strength lies in its data-driven approach. Leveraging hundreds of data points, CNS personalizes treatment plans for each patient, resulting in stellar outcomes. This data-rich methodology, unparalleled in the rehabilitation sector, allows for continuous optimization of care.
CNS's multidisciplinary team includes physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and educational therapists, all working collaboratively under clinical care management. This holistic approach addresses the multifaceted needs of brain injury patients.
