The demotion committee consisted of Dave Morton, Mike Willis, Ken Beurmann, Garro Ellis, Ben Taft, Brad Barnes, Jeff Gutierrez, Jeff Green & Ben Taft.
Invocation: A hilarious invocation was performed by Jeff Chandler.
Song: The opening song was a parody of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, performed and re-written with scathing lyrics, was performed by Colleen McGauley.
Flag Salute: The flag salute was going to be a gag where Ken Secor was going to drone on about the history of the Pledge of Allegiance before being cut short. Ken was having none of that- so, it was a typical Ken Secor moment.
The theme of the demotion was "Who is the Real Steve Roach". Overall, as demotions go, it didn't suck.
We're looking forward to seeing what incoming president Ray Watson has in store. Hopefully, like Steve's tenure, it will Inspire, Irritate and possibly Intoxicate us all.
President Steve's demotion poster representing the different "Steves".
Jeff Green's Win Eaton impersonation was a poke at Win's long winded diatribes. Win took it in stride.
Ben Taft claimed to be "I.T. Steve".
During Ben's performance, he made up-coming president Ray Watson promise never to serve Hodel's "Mystery Salad" again.
Next up was Garro Ellis, claiming to be "Cowboy Steve".
Finally it was Ken Beurmann claiming to be USC Steve... when in reality, it was revealed he was "Party Steve".
No subject was out of bounds at Steve's demotion... including the Boy Scouts changing their name to just "Scouts". The "Scouts" were played by Jon Sampson and Kristen Hagen.
Proof that Ben Stinson will pretty much laugh at anything.
The expressions and body language of the Roach family says it all. To the Demotion Committee, they say "SUCCESS"!
