A Millennial Takes the Wheel

It was time for Garro Ellis to hand over the gavel (really it’s the President Rotary Pin). He humbly and swiftly recognized all his board members individually with beautiful bronze plated plaques, with a special one for Mary, Mike McCoy and the Rotarian of the Year: Willie Boy Willis!
On to the main attraction. As the first scribe of the new president’s term, I have to let you know I was out of breath and got writer’s cramp after the first 60 seconds. Actually, I didn’t want to take notes because the speaker was so attention-grabbing and the content so captivating that I found myself in a "Beurmann Trance". I couldn’t look away! And then when I thought we had another 15 minutes, the President presented us the awesome Mini-Kenny to remind us of the gift of giving, bellowed out “Adjourned”, banged the bell, and disappeared.
