I'm writing this Spoke to the best of my recollection. I had some notes but spilled a margarita on them. I know, I know, likely excuse.
Sooo.... Initial recollections:
Lou came through with a delicious batch of margaritas once again.
The decorations, music and food were top-notch!
Sheryl and Lou were awarded a special thank you from the club. Mary Castaneda found a wonderful mini tequila bar and had it personalized just for the Barbiches (sp).
Everyone participated in wishing Kristin Watson "Happy Birthday"- and - oh yeah, she's going to be our future president! Congratulations!
After mingling with some fellow Rotarians, my wife and I wolfed down tacos with our delightfully engaging table mates, Toni Harper,Ashley Sodergren and Clint Trimmer. I participated in a Serrano chili challenge with Toni and Ashley, which I immediately regretted and continued to regret. And we all learned a lot about making our own sourdough bread from Clint.
Justin & Carrie Leland won the costume contest, dressed as valets with matching tuxedo shirts.
