Ken Beurmann shared another athletic photo of himself in what, I'm sure, was a doomed future in the 100m dash.

Program:

Ryan Beckwith from A3 Sports and Wellness started the program with tools to help us all maintain a good, healthy spine.  Professional athletes who train for hours at a time focus a lot of their warm-ups stretching their muscles and ligaments to prevent injury.

Dr. Patel volunteered to show how easy stretches can lengthen our flexibility and help our posture.  Good posture is key to the blood flow from the spine to the rest of the body.  Careful adjustments to the way we walk and the way we sit can help keep our bodies healthy and injury-free.

Joe Gregory demonstrated the importance of shortening the amount of time we spend on our smartphones.  Being on our phones too much hinders our posture and lessens the flexibility in our peripheral vision.
Bea Barmann, new Rotarian and Post-Millennial, was super stoked about her Rotary Bag-O-Crap.
Ryan Beckwith performs a magic trick which allows Girish to touch his toes.
David Denison missed last week's meeting, but was spotted shortly after with clubs at Sundale.
Pat Collins hauled one of his original paintings by Dr. Seuss to the meeting to use as a backdrop for his invocation. I'm sure there was a logical reason- in his mind- to go to that trouble.
