Jim Baldwin announced the rotary challenge golf tournament that will be held at San Luis Country Club, they need three or more people to enter for a chance to win $1,000 to our rotary foundation.
Kristen Hagan reminded everyone of the all club service project at Jim Burke Ford this Saturday, volunteers are needed from 7:30 am to noon to help pack 20,000 meals for homeless.
President Ray reminded everyone next rotary will be offsite at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, the Founders Hall. Speaker will be Michele Shane about strokes/heart issues.

www.bballuniverse.com) This non-profit organization serves thousands of children in the community each year. Their philosophy is to provide solid fundamentals of the game in a relaxed fun and competitive environment. They promote ideals in sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship, and education on and off the field.
Arleana Waller, Founder, CEO of ShePower Leadership Acadamy was also on hand to speak about her organization. (

Their purpose is to empower women and girls to own her power without apology, to collaborate and reach 1,000,000 women and girls globally.
The two partners are planning the Kern County 1st indoor multi-sports complex to open end of 2019 – early 2020 at 3101 Gilmore (old Costco), a 55,000 sq foot area with 5 basketball courts, weight rooms, meal room, and more for youth as well as to serve as a central location for tournaments (between LA – Sacramento).
