Justin Salters introduces Mark Keppler from the Maddy Institute for Public Policy. Created in honor of Senator Maddy in 1999, the Maddy Institute offers a leadership development program, information about legislative policy and state politics, as well as opportunities for citizen engagement. Mark acknowledges the lack of Bakersfield voices on their platform and asks for more voices to be heard via their media efforts, including their radio show. Mark invites Rotarians to sign up for their free resources and asks for their input in certain relations including agriculture, energy, and politics to provide more balanced viewpoints from all in Central CA, not just the Fresno area.
