Jeff Chandler reported that Rogers Brandon rescued him from a bow tie fiasco moments before Jeff was set to conduct a wedding ceremony. Who better than Rog to come to the rescue?
Eddie Payne reminded everyone about bell ringing on December 15 and announced that he’s being inducted into the CSU Bakersfield Hall of Fame.
Jeff Green announced that Bryan Burrow is also being inducted.
Win Eaton is proud of his daughter for setting up a palliative care program at Kern Medical and for finishing the Bakersfield Marathon in 3 hours 50 minutes. Win completed the half marathon.

Highlights included:
The Thomas Roads Improvement Program has spent $400 million to date
Completed projects include the Westside Parkway, SR-178/Fairfax Road interchange, SR-178/Morning Drive interchange, SR-99/Hosking Avenue interchange and Rosedale Avenue widening.
Upcoming projects include 24th Street improvements, the Centennial Corridor and the Hageman Flyover.
