Andrea Chavez and Randy Chavez presented the Talley Farms subscription produce baskets. Talley Farms, founded by Oliver Talley in 1948, is a family-owned farming operation based in California's Central Coast. They grow, pack, and ship a variety of fruits and vegetables.
Andrea Chavez, with over 40 years of experience in the produce business, created the Talley Farms Box Program. This program aims to provide healthy, fresh, local vegetables and fruits to Central Coast residents through subscription-based farm boxes. The boxes come in two sizes: the Original Box, containing 9-12 fruits and vegetables suitable for a family of 2-5 people priced at $45, and the Junior Box, with 5-8 fruits and vegetables suitable for an individual or couple priced at $40.
Customers can customize their boxes once they subscribe and choose from pick-up, local home delivery, or overnight shipping options. In Bakersfield, pick-up locations include Butcher Block Quality Meats, Elite Fitness Center, Kaiser Permanente (for employees only), LVL Fitness, Orangetheory, Temblor Brewing Company, and Tlo Wines. Subscribers can select their box delivery schedule weekly, every other week, or monthly, with the flexibility to add or cancel boxes easily.
