This was a big week for Arroyo Grande Rotary! Although we have had to postpone any major events, we were able to recognize some very special people during our end of year transition.
First, Linda Vleit was recognized as our Rotarian of the Year. As one of our newest members, Linda has been a phenomenon. Congratulations, Linda, and thank you for all you do!
We also recognized three recipients of the Paul Harris Service Award, which is given to outstanding individuals outside our club. This year's recipients were Caren Ray Russom, Michelle Fahnoe, and Bob Lund.
We were also delighted to introduce our Rotary Scholarship winner, Alexandra Lund (no relation). Alexandra will be attending Syracuse University in the Fall. Congratulations to Alexandra!
And finally, we welcomed our new club president, Jim Stitt and his board.
