Dan Cashier was named Citizen of the Year this week by the Arroyo Grande Chamber of Commerce at its annual installation dinner for his tireless efforts to enhance the community through volunteering.

This seems to be a year for recognition for past AG Rotary president Dan Cashier. First he's named a Giuliani delagate (see other article on this site), and now he's recognized for his volunteer efforts by the Chamber of Commerce.

The ways Dan has contributed to his community are too numerous to be listed here, but suffice it to say he sits on numerous boards and helps get things done for every organization lucky enough to have him as a member.

Certainly the most visible local example of Dan's organizational prowess is the Rotary Bandstand on the Village Green in the Village of Arroyo Grande, which he spearheaded over the almost three years required for completion.

We're truly fortunate to have you in the club, Dan!
