Join Us At The Heritage Days Parade

Everyone comes out on the second Saturday of June for the Heritage Days Parade and lines both sides of the length of Wilson St.
Remember to bring your wallet or at least tuck some bills into your pockets to help fill the buckets our members and friends use to collect donations for each year's Heritage Days events.  100% of what we collect is presented to the Heritage Days Committee on behalf of the parade goers to be seed money for the next year's parade.

So if you plan on enjoying this year's parade, know it was possible partially due to the generosity of your friends and neighbours who donated last year....

Keep the tradition strong and watch for the Rotary Clubs of Ancaster Exchange Students and our collection team during the parade!

Lancaster Presentation last night a great success

Our thanks to Craig Brookhouse, Chief Flight Engineer of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Lancaster Bomber for a heartfelt and inspiring presentation last night.  We had a near capacity crowd at the Rotary Centre to hear his tale of the 8 weeks that was spent in England this past summer as they did over 52 fly passes and many air shows flying in formation with the only other Lancaster still flying.  It was a wet and crumby evening for those who attended but the room was filled as we heard Craig's first hand account of the many adventures, the risks and the touching experiences of this unique event.

Tonight's Lancaster Presentation is now SOLD OUT.

We have reached the room capacity and expect a big crowd.  Thanks to everyone who have booked tickets to what looks like a historic event.
A night with Craig Brookhouse, Chief Flight Engineer on the historic CWH Lancaster trip to England this summer and fall.
Hear first hand about the trip, their reception in England and the behind the scenes story of the emergency engine swap.
