Wanted Creekside Rotarians and their City Slicker friends. The Summer Social, June 26th, at Mark and Nancy’s Dude Ranch was a huge success despite the fact that it just happened to fall on the hottest day of the year! The Dude Ranch was ready for the wild west roundup, with a farewell to the old posse as the ride off into the sunset and the installation of the new Board gang.
Board for 2021-22 include President – Maria Mokrai, President Elect – Rich Davis, Secretary – Sharon Johnson, Treasurer – Doug Carney, Foundation Chair – Tom Edmiston, Youth Cochairs – Ginger Page and Jean Ottaway and Service Cochairs – Richard Beck and Jeff Lewis.
Numerous games and activities were ready for young and old, as hoedown friends dressed in western gear, came prepared to have a wonderful time, socializing, chowing down on sloppy joes, BBQ pork, outback salad, coleslaw, outback cookies, mudpie, peach cobbler, watermelon and root beer floats and so much more. Prairie activities for varmints were prepared: cowpie toss (to pick the new President Elect), Rotarian bocce ball, posse wipeout, lasso toss, frisbee golf, among others. Congratulations to new Board members and a huge thank you to Nancy and Mark.
