Rotary Club of Salem Creekside  # 3 
January 13, Tom Golden (District 5100 PolioPlus Chair), on behalf of Tom Crozier (District 5100 Rotary Foundation Chair), presented the Rotary Club of Salem Creekside with the Foundation Banner for continuous support through District Annual Giving. "Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Salem Creekside for being a EREY (Every Rotarian Every Year) club and being the Number 3 Club in our District for Annual Giving." "We are making a difference in the lives of millions of people in our community and around the world," stated Club President Maria Mokrai. 
 
During the past 100 years the Foundation has spent over $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects; 91% of donations are directly spend on programs. The 7 areas of focus are: disease prevention and treatment, clean water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, economic and community development, peace and conflict resolution and the environment. The Rotary Foundation has achieved a 4 star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest possible rating and all donations are tax deductible.
