ACTIVITIES:

Plant trees in Milwaukie and celebrate the City of Milwaukie's Arbor Day! Back in February 2021 the community lost many trees due to a once-in-a-century ice storm followed by the late June heat dome. Let's replant and regrow the local urban canopy! We will be planting many dozens of large stock trees (6-10' tall) in their new forever homes adding health benefits and beauty across several neighborhoods. You will be planting 7-10 trees in a small group.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING: To make sure your experience is fun and comfortable, please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes or boots and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Please bring your own face mask, we have gloves you can borrow that are professionally cleaned between uses. Due to Covid-19 concerns, this event will probably not have any shared food or beverages -- please bring a water bottle and any snacks you may need.

PROVIDED FOR YOU: Friends of Trees will provide instruction and all the tools you'll need. We'll also have gloves available.
