Our regular Rotary Club Meetings are at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center located at 12309 22nd St NE. We start at 7:30 am. There is a robust continental breakfast available beforehand. Visitors are always welcome. Our mailing address is PO Box 908 Lake Stevens, WA 98258.

This Week's Meeting

We found out after we went to press that the program to be presented by our speaker was different than we originally thought. Our apologies to Chief Stedman.

The program this week includes a presentation by Chief Bruce Stedman of the Arlington Fire Department. He will share information about the Community Paramedic Program in North Snohomish County.

Aquafest 2017

Congratulations to our winners of the Duck Dash prizes and for buying tickets to this wonderful fundraiser!!

The 57th Aquafest is now a part of history. Our Club has been involved in Aquafest for over 23 years. Our Rotary Club booth sold 29 cases of corn and donated the remaining three cases to the Lake Stevens Food Bank. Early indicator shows 2000 Duck Dash tickets sold this year.

A big thank you to everyone involved in selling Duck Dash tickets, working in the club's Aquafest booth, driving and riding in the parade. The large rubber Duck was a huge success this year.

So many Rotarians and friends to thank for their dedication, work ethic and plain old hard work in pulling off another Aquafest event.

The booth looked fabulous this year with the Big DUCK adorning the Aquafest booth roof top which was a really big hit with the kids as was so was the two large CORN banners that could be seen from a very long distance. We want to thank this years sponsors and the Rotary Club of Arlington for loaning us 3,000 ducks. Barcodes on each duck made it easier to number and inventory.

Annual Guns 'n Hoses Charity Softball Game

Big news! We've got Airlift NW planning to land their helicopter at the far end of the LSHS baseball field at 5pm next Tuesday, August 8th, calls permitting. Then our BBQ starts at 5:30 pm and the ballgame starts at 6pm. We will also be collecting donations of rice and dried beans for the LS Food Bank. Guns 'n Hoses Softball Challenge - come on out & check it out!!
