The Spine and Chiropractic Care
Dr. Nicole Morin, DC spoke to our Club on Friday, November 30th about the spine, nerve system and the three basics of chiropractic care.  Dr. Morin grew up in New Jersey the youngest of six kids. From the time she was six years old, she knew she wanted to be doctor. But what kind of a doctor?  Fortunately, the Chiropractor she began seeing as a teenager became a role model for her and encouraged her to pursue Chiropractic. She graduated from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and one in Biology. She attended the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1998. She met her husband the first day of class in September 1995 and they have been together ever since.
Dr. Morin was here to talk about the spine but wanted to discuss the nerve system and the three basics of chiropractic care. First is a positive focus with a family career focusing on the mind and body. See good, be good and do good. Second is a healthy lifestyle. This part concentrates on diet, hydration and dynamic movement coupled with rest. Clear brain body direction. The human body has over 50 miles of nerves. 100 trillion cells in our body.  She focused on subluxation, a slight misalignment of the vertebrae. This is where chiropractors adjust the spine. Third is that health and well being is most important to help the body find that balance.

Dr. Morin and her husband opened Naturally Chiropractic Family Wellness Center, their own practice in Lake Stevens in June 2001. They have two children who have grown under chiropractic care since they were each 10 minutes old.
