Our regular Rotary Club Meetings are at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center located at 12309 22nd St NE. We start at 7:30 am. There is a robust continental breakfast available beforehand. Visitors are always welcome. Our mailing address is PO Box 908 Lake Stevens, WA 98258.

This week, Sam Low will preside over his last meeting as Club President. Thank you Sam for a great Year!

Annual Banquet & Awards Ceremony
Wow, what an event and an exciting evening for our Club's Annual Installation Banquet and Awards ceremony. We had several guests from the District Leadership both past and present. Joining us for this annual celebration were:
 
 Marc Baker – Assistant District Governor, Area J 2014-17 and a member of the Rotary Club of Everett.
 Dave Duskin – Assistant District Governor, Area J 2017-2020 and member of the Rotary Club of Arlington
 Lyle Ryan and his wife PJ – District Governor 2014-15—a member of the Rotary Club of Everett and PJ is a member of the
 Rotary Club of South Everett Mukilteo
 Harv Jubie and his wife Jan – Past District Governor 2005-06 and a member of the Rotary Club of Marysville.
 Larry Jubie - Past District Governor 2009-10 and member of the Rotary Club of Marysville.
 Linda Murray and her husband Bill -  District Governor-Elect 2018-19 and a member of the Rotary Club of Everett-Mukilteo
 
The Awards ceremony was an opportunity for many of our members for their achievements this past year.
 
 
Foundation Giving Award – Paul Harris Award to Lance Morehouse
Certification of Appreciation – Kristin Odegaard. Kristin wasn’t present and will be given the award at the first opportunity.
Rising Star Award was given to Gina Anderson
Four Way Test Award was given to Laurie Westover
Co-Spirit of Service Award was given to>> Tracy DeLorm and Carie Rott.
Co-Distinguished Service Awards were presented to Jim Haugen and John Huber
Rotarian of the Year was given to Gary O'Rielly
 
Special night and special award salute to Loren. The District leadership past and present were there to honor Loren's accomplishments.
 
SURPRISE and it definitely was a big one because Loren was presented with the following:
 
1.  A framed original copy of a  letter from RI President John Germ and read to us by Linda Murray.
 
2.  A wooden/framed Perfect Attendance Plaque from District 5050 presented by Linda Murray.
 
3.  The City of Lake Stevens framed proclamation read by Mayor John Spencer
 
4.  Snohomish County proclamation read by Councilman and Club President Sam Low.
 
5. A Etched crystal Monarch Award on a marble base with the following engraving. 50 years of service and perfect attendance Loren Hole in recognition of dedicated service, attendance and loyal devotion to the ideals of Rotary and the Rotary Club of Lake Stevens 2016-17.
 
6. A decorated cake to be shared with all of the attendees.
 
Following the award ceremony the exchange of the gavel and KING hat after brief summary comments by outgoing President Sam and incoming President Randy. The oath of office and installation was administered by Linda Murray, District Governor-Elect 2018-19.
