End of the Year
Each year there is a change in each organization and Rotary is no different. Sam's last meeting of the 2016-17 was this past Friday, June 30th. The meeting was a reflection of our reasons to be Rotarians by giving financially to local organizations and groups. No one was more excited to present checks to two very worthy organizations to cap off his Presidential term for 2016-17 than our President, Sam Low. Congratulations on another great year Sam.

Judge Millie Judge, Superior Court Judge was available to accept a contribution from our Club to the Snohomish Superior Court in the amount of $1,000 to help provide resources for youth at risk who appear before her in court. The second contribution was made to Hungry Hearts. Accepting the $1,000 check was Anita Caffee, Vice Chair and Tammie Enders, Board Members of Hungry Hearts. Hungry Hearts is about tackling childhood hunger.

Thought of the Week - Who Said It?
"Too many people go through life complaining about their problems. I've always believed that if you took one tenth the energy you put into complaining and applied it to solving the problem, you'd be surprised by how well things can work out."
