Path From Poverty

Path From Poverty partners with women’s groups in rural Kenya, assisting them to launch small businesses in line with regional market demand, and creating savings groups where the women pool funds to purchase either 10,000-liter rainwater catchment tanks or solar panel packs for sustainable energy. Lack of immediate access to clean water and electric power means the women spend countless hours each day walking in search of water or unable to venture outside their homes once darkness falls. The presentation describes the impact that Path From Poverty is making through the strategy of women working together, self-designed savings projects, and the incentive of the financial match.
