Wider World of Rotary

By Virginia McKenzie reporting from New York City

Fast Facts on The Rotary Club of New York #6:

  • 100 members
  • In 2001, NY#6 had their first female president, Helen Reisler. (In photo top-right) Under her leadership they raised and distributed $1.4M in relief for survivors of 9/11
  • NY#6 has sponsored three Rotaract Clubs and one Young Professionals Rotary Club.
  • The current President of NY#6 is 36 years old, Can Ergilgin. (In photo, bottom-left)
  • I met Megan Stewart, Treasurer of Rotaract Club of NY at the UN. She is a dear childhood friend of Seattle City Rotaractor Devon Hay. (In photo bottom-right) Rotary makes the world feel like a very small and very friendly place!!

Seattle Rotary Online is a significant marketing opportunity that is available to organizations that wish to help co-sponsor it. Intended as a library where you can just pull a speaker’s presentation off the shelf, Seattle Rotary Online has been sponsored by First Choice Health CEO, Ken Hamm. Ken is willing to share the financial load (and public awareness!) with companies or other organizations that wish broader awareness within the club or community.
Sponsorships are available for as little as $500Please contact Seattle 4 Rotarian, David Endicott by email or at 206-409-3275.
