Seattle Rotary Online is a significant marketing opportunity that is available to organizations that wish to help co-sponsor it. Intended as a library where you can just pull a speaker’s presentation off the shelf, Seattle Rotary Online has been sponsored by First Choice Health CEO, Ken Hamm. Ken is willing to share the financial load (and public awareness!) with companies or other organizations that wish broader awareness within the club or community.
Sponsorships are available for as little as $500. Please contact Seattle 4 Rotarian, David Endicott by email or at 206-409-3275.

Rotarians Advocate for Malaria Elimination in Uganda and Tanzania
By Jim Moore
Seattle 4 Rotarians Larry Granat, Jim Moore and Sarah Weaver spent a week at the end of April in NE Uganda with Rotarians from the Soroti Central club. They visited Katakwi II anti-malaria Global Grant project sites and participated in both mosquito collection/analysis and health clinic monitoring activities led by NGO Pilgrim Africa staff. Home stays with Soroti Rotarians were a treasured part of our experience.
From Uganda Larry, Jim, and Sarah joined Charley Dickey and Dorothy Echodu in Arusha, Tanzania where, representing Rotarian Malaria Partners, they attended the District 9211 Conference, joining 1,200 Rotarians from 131 clubs in Uganda and Tanzania. Highlights of the conference were a keynote presentation on malaria elimination by Dr. Diana Measham of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the opportunity to spend time with R.I. President Nominee, Sam Awori, from Uganda. The conference was quite an event just by itself, featuring Arabian Nights, Masai, and formal themes during each evening’s festivities.
Join tens of thousands of Rotarians in Atlanta to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Rotary Foundation and 30 years of women in Rotary!
